Silver Jewelry

Because silver jewelry is so inexpensive it is very affordable to a lot of unique and varied designs, creating this many designs would be prohibitive to do with platinum or gold. The freedom to design without the fear of going into large debt allows then silver market to flourish around the world. When you couple silver with the cheap alternative to diamond, Cubic Zirconia, you really get some fantastic designs.

At Zulu Moon we strive to keep 8,000+ pieces (styles) of silver jewelry available at all times. This large inventory would be nearly impossible to afford if we specialized in any other precious metal. Lucky for us and our customers, Silver is very reasonable.

When buying silver jewelry, you typically are buying Sterling Silver. Sterling Silver is .925 parts silver and .75 parts of another metal. The reason silver jewelry is not “pure silver” is that silver is a very soft metal and it is easy to deform, scratch and dent. Thus the addition of harder metals such as nickel allows sterling silver jewelry to hold up well over time.

When you purchase Sterling Silver, look for the mark ‘925’, ‘ster’ or ‘sterling’ to determine is you purchased a good product. (if you really like the design and your hand body doesn't’t turn green you might not care if it sterling)

At Zulu Moon, we carry over 1,000 sterling silver rings. Most of these rings have gemstones or some other ornament. All of our gemstone silver jewelry is genuine unless otherwise stated in the product description.

Remember that we have a large selection of cubic zirconia engagement rings and mens rings including wedding bands.
